TRADER CHECK
A concise and discreet report designed to provide risk managers and energy traders with the fundamental details of a potential trading counterparty.
TraderCheck has been developed in association with traders and risk managers in the oil, gas and utilities sectors to provide information on any potential business counterparties.
Despite most deals being undertaken on secured terms, there is still a need to ensure that potential business partners, or the individuals behind these companies, are legitimate. TraderCheck is designed to reveal exactly who your potential trading counterparty is, and in what areas the company has traded before.
The report gives you the security of knowing that basic due diligence procedures have been followed prior to dealing with companies or individuals, a process more important than ever in today’s uncertain world.
TraderCheck is split into several sections designed to allow the reader to extract the relevant information quickly:
- Address: to include registered and operational addresses where appropriate, plus contact details - phone, fax, etc.
- Legal Form: to include the date and place of incorporation as well as the legal style.
- Management: list of directors and other known managers.
- Ownership: shareholder information.
- Share Capital: full details where available.
- Business: to include details of the current operations of the subject company with comments on relevant aspects of the company’s performance, financial status, and market activity.
- Assessment: Short appraisal of the subject company and a conclusion with respect to the prospect for a trading relationship.
In order to maintain the integrity of the deal, and reflecting the need for discretion in these markets, TraderChecks are normally completed without contacting the subject company.
